MEET MIKEY

This has been submitted by the loving foster family:

Mikey has gotten so tall! He weighs in at 31 pounds and has almost all of his fur back.
He always gets such wonderful responses when he is out for a walk, people always comment on what a handsome boy he is, and they will usually try to guess what "breed" he is.
So far Rotti/Pitt/Hound have been prominent.
He is so eager to please and responds really well to commands. He knows how to sit and laydown.
He loves to run, and plays a game where he will look at you and jump, and then if you say lets race, he will try to beat you and run as fast as he can.
He is learning to fetch sticks and carry them in his mouth.
Mikey really likes bully sticks and carries them around proudly in his mouth.
His favourite toy is a big stuffed Bulldog that he loves to carry around and chew on.
I am concerned about when he has to leave us as he has really fallen for our English Bulldog Stella and she is really quite fond of him too.
Recently he has started to lay down on our walks to wait for her to catch up, because she can't walk as fast as him. He cries if she goes away during the night when he is in his crate and he absolutley loves to chew on her wrinkley skin.
At Mikey's visit to Dr. Mcbride last week there was one dead mite on his skin scraping, we have upped his medication because he has gained weight.
I have also been supplementing his RAW diet with some immune boosters and have been giving him dips in a special herbal dip to help with the itching.
Mikey is still learning how to Potty outside. We've had some success with him, however he has had some accidents. I think its more a case of us not watching him closely enough because he does sniff and wander when he needs to go. We're working on it.
I am really hoping that he finds a home where he has lots of room to run and ideally another dog to play with.
